Prepare for a Journey into Imagination with The Audio Hollyhock Books Storytime Project

The Secret Book Project

The Secret Life of a Shared Book, a quiet tale left in plain sight.
A whisper of mischief, magic, and a very glittery dragon.

Somewhere in the world, small cards have begun to appear—on café counters, tucked into second-hand books, left quietly at park benches and train stations. They carry no fanfare, no flashy logos. Just a little story, waiting to be found.

And once you’ve heard it… well, you’ll understand why.

The Secret Book Project is A quiet tale shared in unexpected places.

Created by debut author Joules Young, The Secret Book Project began with one whispered idea: that stories are meant to be passed from hand to hand, heart to heart. This isn’t just a story you read or hear—it’s a story you share.

With each printed card or quiet scan, a reader discovers

a hidden audio tale. And with each listen, they’re invited to share it with someone

else—a friend, a child, a stranger who might need a little wonder.

Then, we ask: what happened when you shared it?
Listeners are invited to write in with their moment.

One shared story will be chosen to receive a signed copy of the

debut book when it’s published.

Because the life of a book doesn't end on the page.

It begins when you pass it on.

The full tale (and its glorious illustrations) will bloom into print this October, in a book that’s part story, part keepsake, part invitation to believe in slightly ridiculous things.

If you’ve found one of the cards… you were meant to.
And if the story made you smile, don’t forget to pass it on.
